HOMECOMING!

Okay so i am so sorry that i have no pictures but our Elder Berret Brady has come home from his mission! He has been in New Zealand for the past two years! We just got home from his homecoming and it was wonderful! He had such a wonderful time in New Zealand but he is excited to be home and see the family!

Sorry for not blogging the past week but there has just been nothing to blog about! Let's see...what has been going on......

Jake has been playing on "the machine" for atleast 4 hours a day because he wants to get really good at it......why? I don't know. Jake also screwed up his back when he was at wrestling practice. He has had to go to the chiropractor a few times to get it fixed, and it's getting better.

Jenny had initiation for Chi Omega. She slept over for the initiation and did whatever they do to initiate the girls! (We aren't supposed to know what they do.....??) So now she is officialy a Chi-O...

I have just been working, and second semester of my senior year is starting this week. I get out of school everyday at 11am....what am i going to do with the rest of everyday?? I will have to figure it out.

Mom spent one WHOLE day this week ditching work and going to Barnes&Noble. She read magazines and books for atleast 5 hours. She had her BIG GULP with her and her glasses....that was all she needed! :)

Dad has been working night and day as usual!  (Take a day off  Daddy!!)  He is working on painting and remodeling Jake's room right now as well. The problem? Mom can't decide what color she wants it!  Grey? Beige? Khaki? White?.....??

Mom and Dad work so hard every day and so finally they got to have a break and go to dinner with Dad's boss and some co-workers one night this week. They went to Olive Garden and it was delicious of course!

And thats all for this week!

"the machine"

This "machine" right here has been Jake's pride and joy every since Christmas morning. Mom calls it the machine because she doesn't know what it is called. It is kind of funny because that is exactly what it is! How can someone be so obsessed with something like this....just a little white square machine.
Well, it boggles my mind too. Almost every boy under the age of 20 that I know has this "machine", along with the game below. Call of Duty MODERN WARFARE 2......and they are completely obsessed!

I snapped this shot of Jake while he was completely immersed in the game. (Don't mind the pile of laundry in the back ) Oh and that headset on his head? With that, he can talk to everyone of his friends that has this same game and is playing at the time Jake is! They can be on teams together, and other stuff like that. I don't really understand it, nor do I understand how it can be so fun to run around and shoot as many people as you can....I don't think I will ever find out either!

happy new year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

This year has been such a busy wonderful year for our whole family! We went on many fun trips, and did some awesome activities. These pictures are just a few of the things that our family has had going on this past year!

We started out the year with some great spring skiing!
Jake got his pass this year and he has gone almost everyday over the Christmas break!

Jenny graduated from high school this year so she had the opportunity to go on a few senior trips!
She went to St. George over Spring Break with some of her friends....

She also went to Laguna Beach in June with her whole group of friends for one big last trip!

She also has gone up to her friend's cabin a few times this winter to hang out up there with her friends and go skiing.

Jenny is now going to the UNIVERSITY OF UTAH studying piano, and she is in Chi Omega!

And, as everyone knows, we went to Norway for 2 weeks this summer to visit Aunt Mary and her family....It was a trip of a life time and we will never EVER forget it!

We also got to add a new member to our family! Finnegan Greenleaf! He is our nephew and grandson. We got to see Finn, Koen, Erin, and Clay when we went to Bear Lake in September, and also later in the year they came back to Salt Lake to visit.
I went fishing for the first time this year! Steve is really into it and so he took me to the Provo River. I was lucky and caught my first fish on my 5th cast! It was awesome! We have gone a couple more times since then.

It was Jake's last year of Little League Football. He is going to play for the high school next year!

During Halloween Mom and Dad got to go up to Seattle to visit Erin, Clay, Koen, and Finn. They got to celebrate Koen's birthday with them and Halloween!

(these are just some neighbors playing in the leaves)

We ended the year with an AWESOME Jones Christmas Party.....and yes Santa was there...
Here is a picture of most of the kids of Grandpa and Grandma Jones.

Patrick brought his girlfriend Cheryl, and she had a lot of fun. We thought she might be a little freaked out because she has 4 cousins total, and....well.....we have over 30 plus about 10 kids under the age of 8 running around....not to mention about 4 new babies. But she loved it. And we love it to! I could't imagine our family without the chaos, storms of people coming in the door at once, and kids screaming and laughing constantly.

Here is just a handful of the children that were there.

It was an AMAZING year and we hope we can have another one ahead of us.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
