another 1st

yup! another 1st place for Jake! He had district for wrestling this weekend and he got 1st in the whole entire district in his weight class. I got some awesome pics, but some of them are blurry because I couldn't get close enough! So here they are, hope you like them!

CAPTAINS

He had 3 matches throughout the day, and won all of them! Jenny wasn't able to come because she had a really busy Saturday, or else we would have gotten a picture with her and Jake too.

We got it on video though, so she was able to see it when we all got home.

Jake won't be doing any more wrestling in high school so this was his last wrestling matches, and he is glad he ended with a victory!

CONGRATULATIONS JAKE!!!

Last weekend, Jake had the Region Tournament for Wrestling. He was there from 8:00am until atleast 2:00pm. He only wrestled twice throughout the day, but he beat both of the guys......

and got.....

1st PLACE!!!

So basically he is the best one in his weight class out of 6 different schools!

He has district this weekend and he is excited for it. Oh and, I made the huge mistake of not bringing my camera..stupid me. But I will definitely bring it this weekend and post some pics!

Jenny also got home from St. George last week. She went with Thomas and his family. She had so much fun but guess what.......she forgot her camera too!!! Well she didn't forget her camera.....she just forgot to put the memory card in it before she left haha. Luckily Thomas's mom got a couple, and here is one.

She had so much fun and said it was so warm!

We all MISS the warm weather so much.

The other day it was very warm outside and Mom thought spring was here to stay. So she took off all the curtains to let the sun in (the curtains are really good at keeping the house cozy and warm when it is cold out), cleaned the whole house, went outside and raked, organized everything...you know...the whole spring cleaning deal...

Low and behold. We wake up today.....

its snowing.

We had Nana, Grandpa, Pocci, and Steve over for a wonderful birthday breakfast consisting of delicious buttermilk pancakes, wonderful bacon, and strawberries and whipping cream!

fun filled weekend

We gave Ava her first bath the other day. I think that you can guess from this picture if she liked it or not......

This week was spirit week for Jake's school. They get to dress up as something different everyday, and the day he wore this was nerd day! I have to say, he can pull "nerd" off pretty well!

Last night was the Valentines Dance. Our group went to The Pie Pizzeria for dinner, went to the dance, and then went to Jump On It! It's this place that has trampolines everywhere! It was sooo fun, and luckily no one got hurt!

Jenny left to St. George with Thomas and his family the other day. She won't be back until Monday, so I'll put some pictures up then! They also went skiing the other day and had a blast!

Meet Ava

This was Steve's early Valentines Day gift! She is purebread golden retriever. I drove him all the way out to Lindon, Utah, without telling him what we were doing. He was extrememely confused, and a little bit frustrated! I went into the house that had them, brought Ava out, and he was speechless. 

We drove home, and showed it to Steve's friend Charlie. He couldn't handle how cute she was, so guess what we did.......we drove all the way back to Lindon, because Charlie wanted to get one for his girlfriend!

So now we have two puppies that are sisters and will get to see eachother all the time!

There's Charlie's pup. They named her Kona.

WRESTLING

Jake's wrestling season has started! He had state last weekend and he got 5th place! He did awesome. Here are some pictures of his first match, which he won of course! I think he has only lost one out of six or seven so far! He is doing great.

The picture above is where he pinned the kid in the green. Geez that looks like the most awkward position! It looks like it hurts too!
