A little more than a week ago I had Winter Formal. It was so much fun! We went to Trio for dinner, then we went to the dance, and then we went up to my friend's cabin up in Park City where we hot tubbed, swam, and just hung out and had fun!

This was my date, Travis.
Yes.....he is the one who answered me with GOATS! (shown on a blog below)

I had tons of fun. It was an awesome night!

CHAMPIONS

Jake,

Please.....PLEASE....forgive me for not going to your basketballe game on Thursday....You see, they played Bennion for the championship.....and they WON!! The score was 53-51 and I was told that they played their hearts out! I had to teach my piano students on Thursday and so I wasn't able to go to his game and I was way bummed. But they won, and they had a GREAT season.

WAY TO GO JAKE!

(these pictures are not from the championship game, just from some games earlier in the season)

GOOD JOB OLY BULLDOGS!

CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

HAPPY HOLIDAYS! We have been very busy this Christmas season doing tons of fun activities. Here are just a few that we have been doin.....

Making gingerbread cookies! See the holes in the star cookies? We wrapped red ribbon through them and put them all over the tree!

Sugaring pinecones....doesn't that look like real snow??

Making Buddy wear a reindeer headband. We got him to wear it for about 10 seconds, and then he was done with it!Buddy's favorite thing is to lay as close as he can to the fire to stay warm. It is so funny! He will lay there until his tummy gets so hot that it burns our hands when we touch him. What a funny dog.
Lights lining the stairs....

Putting wreaths and lights on all three of our french windows....
Putting cloves in oranges....They smell so good you just want to eat them! Jake almost did as you can see :) haha

You can't really tell, but that top one says jones! You can only see the "j-o-n" part of it. That was Jake's idea....

Putting baby's breath in the tree.....

Lighting candles and fires daily to make our house so cozy and warm!

Covering the tree with cranberries. We also strung cranberries and popcorn on floss and hung it around the tree...i will post a picture of the completed tree a little later!
Here is the bare tree before any of the decorations were put on it......
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

I will "goat" with you.....??

I heard a very loud knock on our door a couple nights ago, and this is what i saw....

GOATS!

Do not ask me why, but this is what my friend, Travis, decided to do, to answer me to the Winter Formal Dance....talk about RANDOM

If any of you know Buddy, you know that he goes completely insane over anything...and i mean anything....people...dogs...birds....cats....so I think i'll let you imagine what he did when he saw two goats at our door.

Oh. and this is what they left behind.....just great.

I would love to "GOAT' to winter formal with you!

You probably can't see it but at the very bottom of the poster it says....P.S. Leave the Goats! Fortunately they came back and got the goats so we didn't have do deal with them!

What a random night....

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I am sitting here and I am still stuffed out of my mind! My stomach is going to blow any second now. We just barely got home from Aunt Margo's, and as always, we had the most delicious food ever. A lot of the family was there and we got to see some of the family that we haven't seen for awhile!

Here is one of the beautifully set tables.

Colton and Patrick doing their Pioneer faces. Colton got home from his mission about 2 months ago. He was in West Virginia!

Sarah, Nick, and their daughter Caroline came for this Thanksgiving. We were so excited to see them! Caroline has gotten so big and she is now talking!

Here is Baby James Grant Brinton. He is getting bigger every time we see him. What a sweetheart!

Here is Luke! I found him downstairs watching his favorite cartoons! Such a cute kid.

And here are just some random pictures of the family below. I tried to get pictures of everyone but it was hard because they were all running around and it was chaos!

Doesn't that food look amazing?!?

Here is Gaia and Eva May with Kate. Gaia and Eva May were running around the whole time, they were so full of energy! They are best friends.

This is what we all looked like after dinner. We all went into the TV room and fell asleep! Marcus was asleep for the longest though. Don't you love his handlebar mustache? He thought his mustache was good until he saw my Dad's, and then he just felt ashamed haha. It is funny because all of my friends are jealous that they can't grow a mustache as long and as thick as my dad's, and if you have seen my dad's, you know its a good one!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

basketball

Last Monday, Jake had a basketball game against Eisenhower. I usually can't make it to a lot of his games because I have work, piano, etc. but i was so excited because I could actually come to this one! And I made sure to take lots of pictures. Here are a few of them.

He got lucky because he got #51 before anyone else did, and that's his football number! The pictures aren't the greatest quality but their okay.
I can't remember the score of the game but I know that they won! And jake did awesome. He plays some of the varsity game, and most of the junior varsity game. He is still getting the hang of it, because the only basketball he has ever done was when he was really little and on the junior jazz team. So he is working on getting better and we can tell that he is improving! Good job on making the team Jake!
