Here are all the treats from his "treat bag". He really just wanted money this year,
but he still got some goodies!
The party was complete with fire, smores, pizza, food, more food, and about 50+ sophomore boys and girls! We had an awesome turn out, and Jake was definitely surprised!
Sorry Jake, this picture isn't the greatest, but hey you were giving me a hard time about wanting to take pictures so I just had to snap them when I could!
Sweet Nana bought this cake for him. We lit candles and had everyone sing to Jake, he was pretty darn embarrassed!
We had one of his friends shove cake in his face, and Jake just had to get her back!
Dad took Jake over to Nana's earlier in the evening to "help him move the trailer" (we were really just trying to get him gone and out of the house so we could get ready for the party!) And then he took Jake with him to get 10 pizzas, but he told him it was for a work party and that Dad had volunteered to provide the food. Jake was totally oblivious. I am sure he was just anxious to get home so he could go hang out with his friends since it was the last day of school. You could only imagine Jake's frustration when Dad kept driving around the block and taking detours (He had Grandpa in the car because he took him to dinner earlier, and he usually drives around with him after, so that is what he was doing and I am sure Jake just wanted to get home!) Finally, they pulled into the drive way and Jake could see balloons through the breezeway into the backyard and so he looks at Dad and says, "Dad, you're so stupid!" Dad got a kick out of it. Jake walked into the backyard to be greeted by 50+ kids yelling surprise and singing Happy Birthday. He had such a great time and so did all of his friends.
HAPPY 16th JAKERS!
