painting faces

this weekend jenny had the opportunity to go to a place called 'the neighborhood house' to paint faces for the children that live over in that area. Chi Omega does this every year as a service project. This is jenny's first year in Chi Omega so she got to do it for the first time! It was over Halloween weekend so her and her friends dressed up. She dressed up as a puppy! Jenny goes to this place every other day during the week to teach the children piano. She does it for her career development class.

Look how cute!!

Most of the kids wanted scary faces because it was Halloween. Interesting story: This cute little girl (in the picture below) wanted to look scary. Jenny couldn't see the little girl's parents around so she assumed it was no big deal. She finished her whole face and showed the little girl in the mirror. The little girl loved it. A second later, the little girl's mom came storming around the corner and told jenny very harshly to take it off. Jenny was startled! She was very confused...so she ended up having to take all of the paint off and then she painted a little cute pink monkey on her cheek.
Jenny still is trying to figure out why that little girl's mom did that! I can't figure it out either.
