The other night, we were all at the table eating dinner when all of a sudden, all the lights went out! It wasn't stormy or anything outside so we were a bit confused, but we dealt with it and lit some candles to finish our dinner. (Mom's favorite thing: Candlelight!) It was fun, until about 15 minutes later the lights came on! Darn. It was fun with the lights out. A fun memory we all have is from quite a long time ago, us kids were really young, and the power was out for a few days. In the living room, we moved the couches and the coffee table out of the way, set up 2 big comforters right in front of the fireplace, and snuggled up together, while a blazing fire was going all night. It was in the middle of the winter so it was freezing, but with all those blankets and everyone around us cuddling up together, it was a fun and warm night. We spent the night telling "Lippy the Lizard" stories until we all dozed off. :)
